Monica Don’t Do Like This

Monica, Don’t Do Like This😭💔

It started out like any other afternoon. The sun was shining, the playground was buzzing, and everyone was excited to play together. Monica, as usual, ran ahead of the group with her usual energy and charm. But today, something felt… off.

When Lala brought her new doll to show the group—a sweet little gift from her grandma—everyone gathered around, smiling and admiring the cute outfit and soft hair. Everyone except Monica.

Monica crossed her arms and looked away, pouting. “It’s not even that pretty,” she muttered under her breath.

Lala didn’t hear her, but others did. Bibi turned to Monica and whispered, “Don’t be mean. Lala’s excited.”

But Monica was already stomping off to the corner. Moments later, when the kids began playing house with Lala’s doll, Monica came back—this time with a big attitude.

“She doesn’t even know how to play properly,” Monica said loudly. “Give me the doll. I’ll show you how it’s done.”

Lala hesitated, holding the doll close. “No, I’m playing with it right now…”

Without warning, Monica grabbed it from her hands. “You’re doing it all wrong!”

Lala’s eyes filled with tears as she tried to take it back. “Monica, please!”

But Monica had already turned her back, cradling the doll like nothing happened.

“Monica, don’t do like this,” Bibi said firmly, stepping forward. “That’s not kind.”

Monica froze. For a moment, her tough act cracked. She looked around. Everyone was staring—not out of admiration, but confusion and disappointment.

Deep down, Monica didn’t mean to ruin the fun. She just didn’t know how to deal with feeling left out or jealous. But stealing toys and making others feel bad wasn’t the way.

Slowly, she turned around and walked back to Lala. “I’m… sorry,” she mumbled, holding out the doll. “I guess I got a little mad.”

Lala wiped her eyes and nodded. “You can still play with us… but next time, ask first.”

Monica gave a small smile and sat down. “Okay.”

The game continued, and laughter slowly returned. Mistakes happen—but what matters most is learning, saying sorry, and remembering to be kind.

So next time, Monica—don’t do like this. 💛
