My Dog Built a Time Machine! 🐶🕒
Okay, I know it sounds crazy… but my dog built a time machine. And no, I’m not making this up. One minute, he was chewing on his toys in the garage, and the next, he was pushing buttons on my old science fair project — a cardboard “time portal” I made in 9th grade. But somehow, with the help of chewed-up wires, a tennis ball, and who-knows-what kind of dog magic, it actually worked.
It started with a flash of light and a loud woof! When I ran in, my Golden Retriever, Max, was gone. Vanished. All that remained was his collar… and a note (okay, a piece of paper with muddy paw prints and the words “BRB” written in peanut butter).
I panicked. I searched the backyard. The neighborhood. But then, I got a text from an unknown number. It was a photo — of Max, in the 1980s, rocking sunglasses, sitting on a vintage car. The caption? “Loving the vibes. Be home soon.”
I laughed. I cried. I had no idea what was happening.
Over the next few days, I got more updates. Max in Ancient Egypt, wearing a pharaoh hat. Max in medieval times, jousting a knight with a stick. Max in the future, using a robot arm to throw his own ball.
Finally, a bright light filled the garage again — and there he was. Covered in stickers from the 1950s diner, with a futuristic squeaky toy in his mouth and a smug look on his face.
He strutted back into the house like nothing happened. But now, every time I hear a whirring noise or see him sniffing wires, I wonder… is he planning his next trip?
One thing’s for sure: never underestimate a Golden Retriever with a wild imagination and too much free time.
