They’re Pranksters…⏰🤣🐶
Let me introduce you to the two biggest troublemakers in my house: Max, my golden retriever with a heart of gold and the curiosity of a toddler, and Luna, my clever husky who practically has a PhD in mischief. Individually, they’re sweet. But together? They’re pranksters—and they know it.
It started small. One morning, I walked into the kitchen to find Max sitting completely still, looking innocent, while Luna had somehow opened the treat cabinet. I could tell by the crumbs around Max’s mouth that they were both involved. Luna had the brains. Max had the appetite. Perfect partners in crime.
Then came the classic “switcheroo” prank. I’d call Max to come in from the backyard, and Luna would come running instead. She’d get all the praise and pets while Max waited by the door, completely forgotten. The next day, they’d switch. I swear they were taking turns just to mess with me.
Things escalated quickly after that.
One night, I left my phone on the couch. Max gently nudged it with his nose until it fell between the cushions. Then, while I was busy looking for it, Luna quietly stole my sock and paraded it through the living room like a victory flag. Teamwork.
Another time, they somehow managed to set off the voice-activated assistant. I walked into the room to hear, “Playing your playlist: Dog Party Hits.” Max was spinning in circles while Luna barked to the beat. I still don’t know how they did it—but I do know they loved every second of it.
But the worst was the “muddy paw surprise.” After a rainy day, Max distracted me at the front door by barking wildly. Meanwhile, Luna slipped past with her mud-covered paws and dashed straight for the white couch. By the time I turned around—mud art. Everywhere.
Despite the chaos, I have to admit: they’re kind of brilliant. Their pranks are never mean—just sneaky, silly, and way too coordinated for two creatures who claim to not understand English.
So yeah, they’re pranksters. I’ve accepted my role as the confused, mildly stressed-out human in their ongoing comedy show. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. Life’s never boring with these two around!
