Teddy TRIED to Break His Sister Out! đśđđ¨
Let me set the scene: a quiet afternoon, sunshine pouring into the living room, and two Golden RetrieversâTeddy and his little sister Rooânapping peacefully after a wild morning of chasing squirrels and playing tug-of-war with my socks.
I had to step out for a quick grocery run, and since Roo had recently âredecoratedâ the house (read: chewed a couch cushion into confetti), I decided to put her in her crate just to be safe. Teddy, the angel he pretends to be, got free roam of the house.
Big mistake.
I came back 30 minutes later and instantly knew something was off. The crate, which I had left securely latched, was wide open. Roo was running free, tail wagging like sheâd just been pardoned from doggy jail. And Teddy? Sitting proudly next to the crate door⌠looking very guilty.
The security cam footage told the full story.
As soon as I left, Teddy paced in front of the crate, clearly upset that Roo was locked up. He sniffed the latch, pawed at the side, and thenâsomehowâunclipped the crate door with his nose. It took a few tries, but he managed it, and Roo burst out like sheâd just escaped Alcatraz.
They celebrated with a full-blown zoomie session around the living room. Pillows flew. A plant got knocked over. It was chaos.
Teddy had successfully broken his sister out.
I couldnât even be mad. Sure, the house looked like a toddler tornado hit it, but the teamwork, the loyalty, the determination? Legendary.
Now I know: when Rooâs in trouble, Teddyâs not just a brotherâheâs her partner in crime.
