Monkey Misses You Allđđľđ
Monkey has been sitting quietly by the front gate every morning, his little eyes scanning the road, waiting for someone familiar to appear. No squeals of joy, no playful laughter, no arms reaching out to hug him like before. Just the breeze rustling through the trees and the occasional bird flying overhead. He doesnât understand where everyone wentâbut he knows something is missing. Something big. Something warm.
He still carries his favorite toy aroundâdragging it from room to room like he used to when you were there. But the joy in his movements is slower now. The mischief in his eyes has faded just a little. Without you all to chase, to cuddle, to share snacks with, Monkey feels the silence more than anyone. He looks toward the doorway every time it creaks, hoping maybe, just maybe, itâs someone returning. But it’s never you.
The backyard isnât the same. Monkey still climbs the branches, but he stops at the top to look around, as if trying to spot a familiar face in the distance. When he comes down, itâs with a sighânot the excited jumps he used to make when someone cheered him on. He still curls up in his favorite spot at night, but sometimes, he wakes up and cries softly, missing the comfort of your voice whispering goodnight.
The days pass slowly for Monkey. His heart remembers each of you. The way you smiled at him, the way you shared your food even when he stole a little extra, the way you made him feel like family.
He doesnât need muchâjust your presence. Just the sound of your laughter, your footsteps, your love. Monkey is waiting. Watching. Hoping. He still believes youâll come back. He still believes the hugs and giggles and games will return.
If only you knew how much he misses you all. His heart is full of memories, and his eyes hold stories of moments shared. Come back soon. Monkey is waitingâarms open, heart full, ready to love you just as much as before. đâ¤ď¸
