Teddy Is Relieved, Everyone ❤️🐾
We finally have good news—Teddy is okay.
After days of worry, vet visits, sleepless nights, and a rollercoaster of emotions, I can finally breathe again. Teddy is back home, curled up on his favorite spot on the couch, snoring softly like nothing ever happened. And let me tell you—that sound is music to my ears.
Just a few days ago, things looked uncertain. Teddy had been admitted to the hospital for observation after showing signs of extreme fatigue, loss of appetite, and just not being his usual joyful self. For anyone who knows Teddy—even just through our videos—you know he’s pure sunshine wrapped in golden fur. Seeing that spark fade, even for a moment, was terrifying.
The vets ran every test they could think of. The hours waiting for results felt like days. I visited him, brought his favorite blanket, and read your comments to him out loud—yes, really. And I swear, every tail wag and soft nuzzle in return was his way of saying, “Tell them I love them.”
Then finally, the call came:
“Teddy is improving. You can come pick him up.”
Relief isn’t a big enough word to describe the feeling. When I walked into the hospital, he perked up immediately. His tail thumped against the floor, his eyes lit up, and when I crouched down, he nuzzled into my chest like he was trying to crawl into my heart. (He’s already in it, of course.)
Now that he’s home, we’re taking things slow. Short walks. Gentle belly rubs. All the cuddles he wants. Roo hasn’t left his side since he returned—she even brought him every single toy from the basket as a “welcome back” present. The house feels alive again.
Teddy is relieved.
And so am I.
And I know so many of you are too.
The outpouring of love we’ve received has been overwhelming in the best way. Messages, prayers, artwork, songs (yes—someone actually wrote a song for him!). It reminded me that Teddy isn’t just my dog—he belongs to all of us. To everyone who’s ever laughed at his skits, smiled at his goofy grin, or felt a little brighter just seeing him being… Teddy.
He still has some healing to do, but he’s already back to his old antics—trying to steal socks, begging for snacks, and giving Roo the side-eye when she tries to hog the spotlight. In other words, he’s back.
Thank you for loving him. Thank you for waiting with us. Thank you for being part of this story.
We’ll never forget how much support we felt when we needed it most. And I promise—Teddy has so many more tail wags, laughs, and adventures still to come.
From the bottom of our hearts…
Thank you. He’s going to be okay.
